The Dragonfly Letters is a small independent publication of literary essays and on-the-ground stories about places, people, and the invisible threads that connect them.
Created by Daniel Lurien, the publication explores forgotten histories, hidden communities, cultural encounters, and the landscapes that shape our sense of belonging. From abandoned villages to communities living between borders, each story begins with a journey and asks what remains: the memories, traditions, and human experiences that endure beyond time and distance.
Written from different corners of the world, The Dragonfly Letters is a collection of personal encounters, reflections, and observations from a life lived between languages and places.
In an age of constant movement, these are slow stories about paying attention — to the people often overlooked, the histories rarely told, and the places where the past continues to echo.
